The dream:

To help set her children up for life.

The reality:

As young newlyweds, Bensheba and her husband moved to Australia in 1992 to start a new life together. Initially they came with $800 in their pocket but worked hard to build a new life, raising and supporting their two children.

When her husband passed away in 2011, leaving Bensheba alone with two children, she began to worry about how she would be able to provide for their future on her own, including being able to continue to pay private school fees. She knew investing would help her to achieve her goals of providing a good life for her children and so she started talking with Ironfish.

“I believe that if you persevere, you will get into the property market. The properties that I acquired through Ironfish are paying themselves off. My children and I’ve seen the fruits of investing in properties. Now I don’t go to work because I have to, but because I want to, which makes a big difference for me.”

As a firm believer in getting started on the property ladder at a young age, Benshebas’s experience with Ironfish has served as a great motivator for her children.

“If they start young, it will take them a long way. They know how to save and invest and it’s my goal for my children to be well settled.”

And the dream?

With her children now having acquired two properties each through Ironfish, and a total of five properties acquired through Ironfish for her family, Bensheba has turned her dream of setting up her family for life into reality.
